Graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu program in Portland, Oregon with an associate's degree in Patisserie and Baking arts.
I'm currently employed as a CBT (certified baker trainer) with Panera Bread. I suppose I'm slowly ascending up the management ladder and trying to be zen about the whole thing and take things one shift at a time. It's easier said than done sometimes. I work graveyard, usually ten-hour shifts, so I don't sleep nearly enough for my liking. Whatever. I'll sleep when I'm dead.
In my spare time, I take the occasional cake/baked goods order; anything from baby shower cupcakes to birthday cakes, from peanut butter cookie truffles to zombie chocolate duckies.
Given this is my third attempt to resurrect this journal, Force knows what the hell you'll find here. I'm curious to find that out, myself.
